Benue Links publishes a one-way fare of ₦12,000 for its seven-seat Abuja to Makurdi service and ₦27,000 for its listed Lagos Iddo to Makurdi service. From Makurdi to Abuja, the published choices include a ₦10,000 fourteen-seat service and a ₦12,000 seven-seat service.

These are fares displayed on the operator’s official schedule page, checked on 14 September 2026. They are published prices, not confirmed available-seat quotes for a selected travel date. Confirm the current fare, vehicle and boarding point before paying.

Notice the vehicle difference on the Ojo route: the published Makurdi departure has six seats, while the Lagos Ojo departure has fourteen. Both carry the same listed fare. A return trip should therefore be checked separately instead of assuming the same vehicle in each direction.

Why Two Benue Links Prices Can Both Be Correct

Compare the vehicle and departure as well as the destination. On the published Makurdi to Jos schedule, the fourteen-seat service costs ₦10,000 and leaves at 6:00 am. The seven-seat service costs ₦12,000 and leaves at 8:00 am. The difference is ₦2,000, with a different listed departure time.

Makurdi to Onitsha has a similar distinction. Its fourteen-seat entry is ₦17,000 at 6:30 am, while the seven-seat entry is ₦20,000 at 6:00 am. Describing either amount as the single Benue Links fare to Onitsha would hide a choice that matters to the passenger.

Seat count alone does not verify a particular vehicle model, reclining seats, charging sockets or extra luggage space. The source specifies capacity and air conditioning; ask about any other facility you need.

Where to Board: Check the Terminal, Not Just the City

The Abuja directory also has a separate airport entry. Do not substitute the airport for the Area 1 terminal unless your confirmed ticket says to board there.

In Lagos, Iddo, Ajah and Ojo are distinct boarding choices even where their published fares are equal. Confirm the exact terminal entrance and reporting time when reserving. The directory’s Ajah and Ojo descriptions are brief, so a clear meeting point is more useful than relying only on the city label.
