GIGM Price List 2026: Checked Route Fares and Terminal Choices
GIGM’s route-price checker displayed ₦40,250 from Lagos Iyana Ipaja to Ekpoma, ₦41,750 from three Lagos terminals to Auchi, and ₦53,000 from Iyana Ipaja to Abuja Utako. The checks were made on 13 September 2026 with 17 September selected as the travel date.
These are available route-price listings. The checker did not display departure times or seat counts for these cards, so use it to establish a fare reference, then confirm the actual trip and seat before paying.
GIGM price list: checked route-price entries
| Departure | Destination | Vehicle displayed | One-way price shown |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lagos Iyana Ipaja | Edo Ekpoma | Toyota Hiace | ₦40,250 |
| Lagos Ajah | Edo Auchi | Toyota Hiace X | ₦41,750 |
| Lagos Iyana Ipaja | Edo Auchi | Toyota Hiace | ₦41,750 |
| Lagos Old Ojo Road | Edo Auchi | Toyota Hiace X | ₦41,750 |
| Lagos Iyana Ipaja | Abuja Utako | Toyota Hiace X | ₦53,000 |
Each result was marked available for the search using 17 September. The table is a selected sample, not GIGM’s entire network tariff. It does not confirm that a particular seat or departure time remains available now.
The Abuja search returned two identical price cards. They are represented once here because a repeated card does not establish two distinct departures. No departure count has been inferred from that duplication.
For an explanation of why these results differ from a seat-level booking quote, see how TripNira checks fares.
Use the terminal on the result, not just the search box
In the initial Auchi check, the search selected Lagos Jibowu, but the returned cards named Ajah, Iyana Ipaja and Old Ojo Road. The fare belongs to the departure printed on each card.
It would therefore be misleading to quote ₦41,750 as a confirmed Jibowu to Auchi fare based on those results. If you want Jibowu, obtain a result and ticket that explicitly names Jibowu.
This also explains why a broad “Lagos fare” can be insufficient for planning. The amount may look attractive, but your journey to the departure park, the bus time and the arrival terminal still need to fit your trip.
Terminals relevant to the checked routes

| Ajah, Lagos | Close to Ajiwe Police Station on the Ajah-Epe Expressway |
| Old Ojo Road, Lagos | 112 Old Ojo Road, by Demorose Bus Stop |
| Ekpoma | 55 Benin-Auchi Road, opposite Gray Center |
| Auchi | Along Auchi-Okene Express Road, opposite the sports complex |

These entries come from GIGM’s terminal directory. Use the operator’s confirmation to resolve spelling variations or any change to the exact boarding instructions before travelling.
Auchi and Ekpoma are separate destinations. The checked Iyana Ipaja fares differed by ₦1,500, and the listed arrival addresses differed too. A ticket to one town should not be bought as a substitute for a confirmed stop in the other.
Similarly, a general terminal listing does not prove that a ticket includes a campus, hotel or home drop-off. Confirm the final stop and plan any local connection. The TripNira terminal directory can help you keep those distinctions clear.
How to check a GIGM fare and then book
Use the official Check Route Price tool to choose the origin, destination and date. Read the returned departure and arrival labels, vehicle and amount together.
Then use GIGM’s official booking channel to confirm an actual trip. Review the departure time, passenger count, seat, baggage requirements and final fare before payment. The operator’s FAQ describes online booking as a way to request a seat and pay through its online service.
A price-check result is not a ticket. Keep the confirmation and booking reference after purchase, and follow the reporting instructions for the chosen departure.
If your preferred terminal does not return a matching result, check another suitable terminal or date deliberately. Do not silently substitute a different departure park and assume the rest of your plans can remain the same.
Morning and night buses need a separate time check
The sampled price cards did not provide departure times. No morning or night service should be advertised from these cards alone, even if a terminal elsewhere in the directory has an evening-service label.
A directory entry confirms that a location or service label exists on the site. It does not establish that a bus is operating from there to your chosen destination on a particular date.
The same applies to journey length. No reliable arrival time or duration was displayed for these samples. Ask for the expected arrival window before planning pickup or an onward connection.
Luggage and cancellation questions
GIGM’s FAQ says excess luggage should be declared and paid for at the ticket counter, with a receipt. An extra seat may be required. Confirm the arrangement for your actual bags before purchase; the sampled fare cards did not state a free baggage weight.
The FAQ also states a no-refund policy and a 30-day ticket validity period from purchase. Confirm how any change applies to your booking. Validity alone does not mean that a different date, route or vehicle can be taken without a fare difference or another condition.
Do not apply a competing operator’s baggage allowance or change charge to a GIGM ticket. The specific booking conditions are part of the cost comparison.
Frequently asked questions
Does GIGM have one fare for every Lagos terminal?
That was not established. The table names the exact departure on each returned card. Search your intended terminal separately.
Is the Auchi fare the same as the Ekpoma fare?
No in the checked Iyana Ipaja sample: Auchi displayed ₦41,750 and Ekpoma ₦40,250.
Does an available route-price card reserve a seat?
No. The checker did not show a seat count or reservation for these results. Complete the official booking process to obtain a confirmed ticket.
Do two identical cards mean two different buses?
Not necessarily. The checked Utako cards repeated the same route, vehicle and fare without times, so they were not counted as separate departures.
For a route-specific decision, browse TripNira’s bus route guides and confirm the exact terminal and date before payment.
Operator policies, prices, and travel details can change. Confirm the conditions that apply to your own journey.
